The staff demonstrated outstanding knowledge and were incredibly helpful when we planned our outings. The breakfast exceeded expectations, with a lovely selection including decaffeinated options.
Our superior double room had some minor comfort issues.

The location is ideal for scenic walks, with eye-catching views right outside. While the main menu offered good food options, I found it a bit limited for longer stays. Noise from the main road was noticeable in the front-facing room, which might disturb light sleepers. The breakfast spread, however, was exceptional and expertly prepared.

Great spot for a walk break
Popped in for a bite during our hike and wow, that steak pie was delicious! The garden's lovely, and the vibe is chill. A bit pricey though, so be ready for that. Friendly staff too, made us feel right at home. Didn’t check in, but the place looked cozy enough for a stay.

The pub provided a great place to unwind after a day of walking. We had a delightful evening meal, and I particularly enjoyed the roast beef with all the sides. The atmosphere felt welcoming, and the staff looked after us well. We appreciated the diverse drinks menu too. Stopping here before heading back to our home felt perfect for a family outing.
Some areas could use a bit of fresh paint. The TV in the room was rather small.

We explored the beautiful Derbyshire countryside and had a blast at the local attractions. The vibe was warm and cozy with great food at the restaurant. Highly recommend trying the steak—totally worth it! Plus, the staff were super friendly and accommodating.
Only downside was the lack of a small table for the kettle and tea-making facilities in the room. It would’ve made things a bit more convenient.

I stayed in a Standard Double Room. The decor was charming, definitely fitting for a cozy inn. The bed was comfy, and the room was clean. it felt a bit dated, like it needed some refreshing. The bathroom was decent, but had some wear. Not a big deal, just something I noticed. it was a decent place to crash after a day out.
